Hey j,
maybe you can go on strike too? i SO want to NOT to do sh*te. are you still keeping to your extremely high standards when grading these papers?

Unfortunately, I can't flunk them, since these are drafts and don't have grades. So I won't even have the satisfaction of giving them a bad grade. Though I've been pretty good about being nice, actually. If students get a C-range grade, I normally ask them to rewrite the paper for a better grade.

Two words: GRADE INFLATION!!!!!!!!! Happens at all the Ivies (though I'll admit that Cornell is nowhere as bad as the rest). Yup, handed back the drafts this morning. At least I have the weekend free now. /J
