Hey suannie,
No, I haven't seen Boston Legal. I actually have no TV (the geography of Ithaca is such that we get no reception, so you have to get cable tv...and I draw the line at PAYING for tv). I normally get dvds of tv shows these days. It's nicer, actually--no commercials! For 24, I went over to a friend's place to watch it. If boston legal's good, maybe I'll get it out on dvd.
And yes, I don't know what's up with the caption. It doesn't show up on my screen either.

Try "Close to Home"!! Season just ended (i think).. you might find it on netflix soon. "House" is pretty good too!

Suan, Netflix is an online DVD rental service. 3 CDs at one go, with free return envelopes at $19 a month. The beauty of it is that there is no time limit with the DVDs. VERY EXCELLENT selection.

I have to agree with Al, Suan--Ally McBeal was..uh..not my favourite show.
But I'm not crazy about "House" either. Hugh Laurie, why did you have to sell yourself out after "Jeeves" and "Black Adder"???????? *bawlllllll*

boston legal is much much much more clever compared to ally mcbeal. some v. witty lines coming out of there. give it a go - check out the first few episodes and see if you like it...
